MEMPHIS, Tenn. — One man was injured in a shooting on the I-40 on Sunday night, according to the Memphis Police Department.
MPD says the shooting happened at I-40 East near Covington Pike around 8:40 p.m. When officers arrived, they found a man injured and took him to the hospital, where he is expected to recover.
MPD did not add any information about a suspect or what motivated the shooting, saying only that the investigation is ongoing.
