MEMPHIS, Tenn — A man was rushed to the hospital late Sunday night after being shot at a Kroger in East Memphis.
Memphis Police said officers responded to the shooting at the Kroger on 540 S. Mendenhall Road at 9:38 p.m. Sunday.
Officers were told suspects in a black Infiniti SUV attempted to steal a white Infiniti sedan in the Kroger parking lot. During the attempt, the suspects fired several shots at a man as he left the grocery store.
The man was hit in the leg by gunfire and taken to Regional One Hospital in critical condition.
A red Dodge Charger was also seen accompanying the SUV.

MPD said the suspects at this point are identified as three unknown men. Anyone with information should call (901) 528-CASH.
