Man killed in Bethel Grove shooting

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is dead and five people are in custody after a shooting happened Monday morning in Bethel Grove.

The Memphis Police Department responded to the shooting Jan. 8 just after 4 a.m. in the 2700 block of Lowell Avenue. A man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said five people were detained.

The investigation is ongoing.
