MEMPHIS, Tenn. — According to the U.S. Marshals Service, a suspect has been arrested a month after a deadly shooting at a Raleigh apartment complex on Thursday, April 18.
At 4:54 p.m. on April 18, officers responded to a shooting in the area of Summit Arbors Cir. and Hidden Woods Cv., police said.
MPD said they found a man with gunshot wounds dead on the scene.
On April 29, Memphis Police obtained a warrant charging 18-year-old Demario Wilson with first-degree murder and aggravated robbery, U.S. Marshals said.
On May 21, the U.S. Marshals and MPD went to a residence looking for Wilson, who tried to escape through the back window of the house. Investigators told Wilson to come out through the window, and he surrendered without incident, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.
