MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A 17-yeay-old is dead after being shot at a Frayser home Monday, and Memphis Police are still looking for the suspect after they sped away from the scene.
Memphis Police said they responded to the shooting around 3:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 13, 2023, in the 2500 block of Nunnelee Avenue. There, they found a teenage boy suffering from gunshot wounds, taking him to Regional One Hospital in critical condition. Investigators said he later died from his injuries.
MPD later confirmed the victim knew the suspect, who drove away from the scene in a gray sedan. Police have not made any arrests at this time.
