Man shot & killed leaving a house party in southwest Memphis

Police said the victim was shot while leaving a house party early Sunday morning.

MEMPHIS, Tenn — Memphis Police are investigating after they said a man was shot and killed leaving a house party early Sunday morning.

It happened about 2:30 a.m. in the 4300 block of S Third north of Shelby Drive in southwest Memphis.

Police said the victim was shot while leaving a house party. He was taken to Regional One, where he died from his injuries.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 901-528-CASH.

At 2:34 am, officers responded to a shooting call at 4369 S Third. A male shooting victim was located and xported critical to ROH. The victim did not survive his injuries.
