MEMPHIS, Tenn. — UPDATED: A man has died after a shooting Monday near the Memphis airport.
According to the Memphis Police Department, the shooting happened just before noon Monday at Airways Boulevard and Dwight Road.
The man was taken to Regional One Hospital, where MPD said Thursday he died from his injuries.
Investigators said the preliminary investigation indicates the shooting happened after an argument between the victim and a suspect.
They have not said if anyone has been arrested. This is an ongoing homicide investigation.
