MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man wanted for aggravated rape and burglary is in custody Wednesday, the Memphis Police Department (MPD) said.
MPD sent out a Facebook post Oct. 17 asking the public for help finding Anthony Terrell Roberson, 34, who assaulted a woman at gunpoint in her apartment in the 6500 block of Eastbrook Lane on Oct. 3 after illegally entering her home, according to police.
MPD had warrants on Roberson for aggravated rape, convicted felon in possession of a handgun, possession of a firearm in commission of a felony, and aggravated burglary.
Roberson was caught Wednesday in Kansas City, Missouri, and police said they believe he is a person of interest in two other similar investigations.
This investigation is ongoing.
