MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Arkansas State Police (ASP) have been called in to investigate after a man was shot and killed at an apartment complex in Marianna.
Marianna is about 60 miles southwest of Memphis.
ASP investigators said the Marianna Police Department responded to a call about 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2024, about shots fired at the South Pointe Apartments on California St.
When officers arrived, they found 25-year-old Danny Jordan of Little Rock shot in an open apartment doorway. He died at the scene, according to the Lee County Coroner.
Investigators have not said what led to the shooting or released any information on suspects.
