A couple in Mariana, Arkansas has been charged with first-degree murder after the death of a 30-year-old woman that took place in May, according to Arkansas State Police (ASP).
ASP said 24-year-old Dodge Pinegar and 30-year-old Shadee Edgin were charged on June 7.
The Lee County Sheriff's Office asked ASP to investigate the homicide on May 21, according to ASP.
A local farmer initially told police that they found the body of a woman on a field off Lee County Road 706, north of Marianna, according to ASP. This woman was later identified as the victim, according to ASP.
