MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police are investigating after they said a child was shot in Binghampton.
MPD said officers responded to a call about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2024, about a boy who had been shot and arrived at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in a private vehicle. Police said the boy, whose age was not released, was in critical condition.
Investigators said they determined the boy had been shot in an apartment complex in the 100 block of E. Red Oak Dr., not far from Tillman and Mimosa.
Investigators have not said what led to the shooting or released any information on suspects.
