Memphis police looking for suspects after man shot and killed at Gaisman Park

Police said the suspects were young men around 17-19 years old.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is dead after a shooting Monday at Gaisman Park, and Memphis Police said they are looking for the suspects.

The Memphis Police Department said they responded to the shooting Monday, June 24, at 9:10 p.m. at 4223 Macon Rd., where officers found a man who appeared to have a gunshot wound. 

MPD said the man was taken to Regional One Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Police were in the area searching for suspects around 10:20 p.m. No arrests have been made as of June 28, MPD said.

Investigators said there were three suspects in a silver or tan car. Police also said the suspects were young men around 17-19 years old, wearing all-black clothing.
