Memphis Police investigating after man shot and killed near Mitchell Heights area

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police are searching for answers after a man was shot and killed Thursday night near the Mitchell Heights area.

MPD officers responded to the shooting just after 11 p.m. Jan. 25, 2024, in the 3000 block of Given Ave. near Tillman St. They found one man shot, and he died at the scene.

Investigators have not said what led to the shooting or released any information on suspects.
