Memphis police investigating multiple weekend shootings

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — There have been multiple separate shootings between Friday night and the end of the weekend in the city of Memphis, according to the Memphis Police Department (MPD).

Officers said they responded to the 3000 block of Beaumont Street shortly after 9:30 p.m. on March 15.  

Two people were transported to critical condition in Regional One, according to MPD. 

Police encourage anyone with additional information related to this incident to call CrimeStoppers at 901-528-2274 (CASH) with tips.

MPD said another shooting took place in the 800 block of Roland Street.

Officers said they responded shortly before 1 a.m. on Saturday, March 16.  Officers said they found two people that were transported to critical condition in Regional One. 

One person was transported to non-critical in LeBonheur, according to MPD. This person is 17-years-old, according to MPD. 

No suspect information was reportedly available from MPD as of press time.

MPD said another shooting took place at 400 S. Highland Street.

Officers said they responded at about 12:30 p.m. One man was transported to critical condition in Regional One, according to MPD.
