MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two people are dead, and one person is seriously injured after a shooting happened overnight in the South Memphis area.
The Memphis Police Department responded to the shooting Friday, March 15, around midnight in the 3500 block of Millard Road, where officers found three people with apparent gunshot wounds.
A man and woman were pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Another man was taken to Regional One Health in critical condition.
Investigators said preliminary information suggest that the victims and suspect knew each other and an argument led to the shooting.
