MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police said two people have been detained after a man was shot, possibly accidentally, Thursday morning in Whitehaven.
MPD officers responded to the shooting just before 11:45 a.m. Dec. 14, 2023, in the 1700 block of Raines Rd. near Millbranch Rd. They found on man shot and he was taken to Regional One Hospital in critical condition.
Investigators said preliminary information indicates the shooting may have been accidental. They said two people have been detained.
