MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police said a woman was detained after a shooting that left a man dead Thursday morning near Shelby Dr.
MPD officers responded to the shooting about 10:40 a.m. Oct. 3, 2024, at Hodge Rd. near Dalton Rd., just south of Shelby Dr.
They found a man shot and he was taken to Regional One Hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Investigators have not said what led to the shooting, only that a woman was detained.
