MEMPHIS, Tenn — Robbers targeted a Metro by T-Mobile store near South Memphis in broad daylight Monday.
The Memphis Police Department said the robbery happened Dec. 11 just after 2 p.m. in the 1100 block of South Bellevue Boulevard, where three men walked into the store, one carrying a handgun and another handling a rifle.
The suspects forced the employees to give up money and cell phones. They then ran away, heading north on South Bellevue Boulevard.
One suspect wore a black ski mask, light gray hoodie, black jogging pants with white writing down the left leg, black and white tennis shoes, and a multi-colored backpack. Police said he had a black semi-automatic handgun with an extended magazine.
The second suspect was wearing a black ski mask, black jacket with a hood and white emblem on the upper left side, light colored distressed jeans, and white tennis shoes. He carried a black AR style rifle, according to police.
The last suspect wore a black ski mask, light gray hoodie, purple pants, black tennis shoes, and a tan backpack.
Police said no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
