MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police have released a picture of the suspect vehicle they said hit a man pushing a bicycle in Midtown Memphis.
MPD said officers responded to the hit-and-run about 4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2024, along Madison Ave. at South Rembert St., just west of Overton Square. A man pushing his bike down the street was struck by a driver who took off, according to police.
The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Investigators said surveillance video showed the suspect’s vehicle – a dark green minivan that had been going east on Madison Ave. They said the minivan has a broken passenger mirror from the crash.
