MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police are investigating after a man was critically injured in a shooting Wednesday not far from Memphis International Airport.
MPD officers responded to a call in the 3000 block of Getwell Rd, not far from Knight Arnold, about 11 a.m. on Jan. 17, 2024. They found one man shot and he was taken to Regional One Hospital in critical condition.
Investigators said the shooting actually happened in the 3700 block of Winchester Rd., just east of the airport. Police have not said what led to the shooting, but said the suspect was in a tan jacket and blue jeans.
