MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A deadly crash took place on the 3900 block of South Mendenhall, leaving a boy and another person dead Sunday, according to Memphis Police.
Memphis Police Department (MPD) officers said they responded May 19, 2024, shortly after 3 p.m. to find three victims on the scene total. One of these victims was dead when officers arrived, according to MPD.
Two children were transported to Le Bonheur Children's Hospital in critical condition, according to MPD. However, investigators later said one of the children, a 13-year-old boy, died at the hospital.
