MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Officers with the Memphis Police Department (MPD) are searching for two suspects for their involvement in a robbery on the 3000 block of Meadowbrook Rd. on Thursday, Oct. 3.
The victim was meeting with two other people to sell his PlayStation through Facebook Marketplace. The two suspects robbed the victim at gunpoint and stole the PlayStation before leaving on foot, according to MPD.
So far, no arrests have been made. MPD is still investigating this incident.

- Meet in a well-lit public area, like a police station, and never meet at your home. You can also use a safe exchange point, which many municipalities have.
- Use a secure payment method, Facebook recommends using a secure person-to-person payment method, like PayPal.
- Before meeting, review the buyer's profile, Marketplace activity, and ratings.
- Bring a friend or family member
- Let a trusted friend or family member know where you're going and when.
- Clear personal information from electronics.
