MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police said officers responding to calls about shootings in three different locations in South Memphis found two men seriously injured.
MPD said officers first responded about 12:55 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2024, to calls about shootings in the 1900 block of S Lauderdale and at Wynton and Fernwood. They found a man at each location, and those men were taken to Regional One Hospital in critical condition.
Investigators said they determined the original crime scene was in the 1900 block of Belmar near Fernwood. They have not said what led to the shootings or released any information on suspects.
