MEMPHIS, Tenn — Olive Branch Police are asking for help locating the suspects who fired shots near a restaurant after a truck owner confronted one of them breaking into their vehicle.
OBPD said officers responded to a shots fired call Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023, in the parking lot of the Huey’s in the 8100 block of McGregor Crossing. Investigators said a truck owner was leaving the restaurant when he spotted a suspect breaking into the truck.
OBPD said the suspect had stolen a weapon from the truck and a fight began, then the truck was able to get the weapon back.
Investigators said the suspect took off with three others who began firing shots at the victim. Police said no one was hurt.
Investigators said the suspects were in a black Camaro and black Charger and headed toward Goodman Rd. to Highway 78 towards Memphis.
