MEMPHIS, Tenn — A man and child are injured after a shooting took place Friday in Orange Mound.
The Memphis Police Department responded to the shooting around 7:30 p.m. Aug. 9, 2024, in the 100 block of Railton. There, officers found a man and child with gunshot wounds.
The child and man were taken to the hospital, the man in serious condition and the juvenile expected to be okay.
MPD did not specify what led up to the shooting or if any arrests were made.
