MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police have released a grainy picture of a suspect vehicle in a deadly hit-and-run crash in midtown Memphis on Tuesday, March 21, 2023.
MPD said a man died after being hit by a car at Union Avenue and Kimbrough Street about 8 p.m. that night. Police said the man was taken to Regional One Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
On March 29, MPD investigators said video surveillance showed a red color SUV going westbound on Union Avenue when it struck the pedestrian, who was lying in the roadway after a previous crash.
The red color SUV was last seen heading westbound Union Ave.
