MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is in the hospital after a shooting took place early Thursday morning in East Memphis.
The Memphis Police Department said they received a call about the incident May 9, 2024, around 3 a.m., sending officers to the 1400 block of Cherry Road. There, they found a person injured.
Police said the man was taken to Regional One Health in critical condition, but later said he was transported in non-critical condition.
There is no information available regarding a suspect, according to investigators.
