Man injured in shooting along Robin Hood Lane overnight

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police are investigating after a shooting left a man injured overnight in East Memphis.

MPD officers responded to a call just after midnight Tuesday, April 2, 2024, about a shooting victim who showed up at Memphis Fire Station 25 on Willow Rd. They found one man shot in the face and stomach. He was taken to Regional One Hospital in critical condition.

According to the police report, the person who brought the victim to the fire station told investigators that he was not with the man when he was shot but had gotten a call to come get him. When he got there, the witness said he found the victim shot and drove him to the fire station.

Investigators said they determined the shooting actually happened at Robin Hood Lane and Norris. They found a 2008 Cadillac CTS that had been shot on the left rear passenger side, and shell casings in the area.

Investigators have not released any information on suspects or what led to the shooting.
