Shelby County Sheriff's Office investigating double shooting in Cordova

The Sheriff's Office said although the shooting took place in the 6800 block of Amberly Village Dr., the victims were found in two different locations.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — According to the Shelby County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) a double shooting took place in Cordova on Monday.

The SCSO said the double shooting that took place around 4:30 p.m. in the 6800 block of Amberly Village Dr. They said the two victims were found at different locations.

One victim was found in the 7200 block of Dexter Rd., and Shelby County Fire took them to Regional One in critical condition, the sheriff's office said. 

Investigators said the other victim was found in the 6900 block of Brady Hill Dr. and taken to Regional One in non-critical condition.
