MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A person is injured after a shooting at Central High on Monday, Nov. 18.
MPD said officers responded to the shooting behind the school around 2:45 p.m.
Officers found the male victim in the parking lot, and he was taken to Regional One in critical condition. According to two MSCS board members, the victim was a student.
Officers found the suspect near Vinton Ave. and Bellevue Blvd., where he was taken into custody.
Police officials said the shooting was targeted and the suspect and victim knew each other.
