MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two children are injured after a shooting happened Tuesday night in Hickory Hill.
Officers with the Memphis Police Department responded to the shooting Sept. 3, 2024, around 9:45 p.m. in the 6800 block of Club Lane at the Stone Ridge at Germantown Falls Apartments.
A mother told police she went to her daughters' bedroom when she heard them scream. She saw one daughter had been shot in the jaw by a stray projectile and her other daughter had been hit in the finger.
Both were taken to Le Bonheur Children's Hospital. Investigators said the girls are 4 and 13 years old.
An investigation is underway.
