MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is dead after a shooting occurred Thursday morning in South Memphis.
The Memphis Police Department (MPD) responded to the shooting Oct. 12 just after 10 a.m. in the 1800 block of South 3rd Street, where officers found a man seriously injured from a gunshot wound.
He was taken to Regional One Health in critical condition but later died.
MPD said the suspect was last seen driving eastbound on South 3rd Street in a white Nissan Maxima with a black front bumper.
The investigation is ongoing.
