MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police are investigating after finding two people shot at different locations, both of whom investigators said were injured in the same shooting.
MPD officers first responded to a shooting just before 2:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7, 2024, in the 1400 block of Cameron St. They found a man shot and he was taken to Regional One Hospital in critical condition.
Minutes later, officers were called to respond to a shooting victim in the 300 block of S. Parkway E. They found a woman who had been grazed by a bullet and she was taken to Regional One in non-critical.
Investigators said preliminary information indicates the two were injured in the same incident. They have not said what led to the shooting or released any information about suspects.
