MEMPHIS, Tenn. — According to the Memphis Police Department (MPD), a shooting in South Memphis left a man in critical condition on Wednesday evening.
Around 6:15 p.m., officers responded to a shooting call at Texas St. and Ashby Ave., according to MPD.
Police said they found a man with gunshot wounds, and he was taken to Regional One critical condition.
The man police suspect may be responsible was known to the victim, MPD said.
