MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police are investigating a suspicious package in downtown Memphis, which caused the Federal Building downtown to be evacuated Wednesday afternoon.
According to Memphis Police, officers were called to a suspicious package near Main Street and Adams Avenue around 1:40 p.m. Wednesday. Officers later gave the all-clear, but not before the Federal Building downtown was forced to evacuate.
We're still gathering information on what led to the suspicious package being left near the building.
