MEMPHIS, Tenn — According to the Memphis Police Department (MPD), a man broke into a Taco Bell through the drive-thru window on Wednesday.
Officers said they responded to a business burglary at Taco Bell on 911 Estate Drive Wednesday at 8 a.m.
According to MPD, around 2:30 a.m. and 3:25 a.m., a man broke the drive-thru window of the Taco Bell, crawled through it with a dark-colored gym bag and crawled across the floor to the Brinks safe under the front counter.
After the man used a metal grinder to cut holes into the safe and take the cash inside, he crawled back through the window and left the scene, police said.
The man wore a white hoodie with blue and yellow designs, a black mask, dark colored pants, work gloves and black lace-up work boots, according to police.
MPD said they have made no arrests at this time.
