MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Thieves broke into a beauty store early Friday morning in Memphis, escaping with a register and large safe.
The Memphis Police Department responded to the burglary just before 2 a.m. in the 3600 block of Riverdale Road at the Nicole Beauty & Wigs store, where officers saw that the front glass door had been broken.
Video footage showed the suspects arriving at the scene 10 minutes earlier, according to police. Two men wearing all-black clothing drove up in a silver Infiniti. They used a sledgehammer to break their way inside the building and stole multiple items, including a register and large safe, police said.
The two suspects then drove away.
Upon arrival, one officer noticed a white and dark vehicle speeding away.
According to the police, one suspect wore red gloves and Nike shoes that were green, black, and white. The other wore gray gloves.
