MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police are searching for answers after three people were shot at different scenes Monday afternoon in Whitehaven. They said all of the shootings are connected.
MPD officers said it all happened about 1 p.m. Jan 1, 2024. They responded to a shooting call in the 1700 block of E. Holmes Rd. near Millbranch, where they found one man shot to death.
Investigators also responded to a shooting in the 4600 block of Millbranch near E. Shelby Dr. They found one man shot and he was taken to Regional One Hospital in non-critical condition.
Officers also responded to a call at Methodist South Hospital in the 1300 block of Wesley Dr. near E. Raines Rd. where they said a man who had been shot had arrived in a private vehicle. He was in critical condition.
Investigators have not said what led to the shootings or released any information on suspects.
