MEMPHIS, Tenn. — One man is gravely injured and another one was detained after a shooting in North Memphis, according to Memphis Police.
MPD says officers responded to a shooting a little after 3:20 p.m. in Lyon Ave., near Total Praise Christian Ministries. There, police found an injured man who was then transported to hospital. Nearby, on Clayton Ave., MPD found another man who was then detained. According to MPD, the second man was also transported to the hospital after he suffered injuries while fleeing from the shooting.
MPD did not release any further information but said the investigation was ongoing.
