MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Arkansas State Police (ASP) are investigating after they said human remains were found along Intestate 40 in West Memphis.
ASP investigators said the remains were found about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2024, at the 280-mile marker along I-40.
They have not yet said how the person died or released any identifying information.
The remains have been taken to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy.
