WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. — West Memphis Police are investigating an incident that occurred at Southland Casino early Friday morning.
The incident happened in the casino's parking lot on Nov. 8. A spokesperson for Southland Casino's corporate office — Delaware North Companies — released the following statement:
"Our security team immediately contacted West Memphis police after the isolated incident early this morning in the parking lot outside the casino. We are providing surveillance video and other information for their investigation. The safety and security of our guests and team members is our top priority, and we have a comprehensive security program in place, including a weapons detection system at every entrance that prevents weapons from entering the casino."
