MEMPHIS, Tenn. — According to MPD, a man was found dead with a gunshot wound at the I-55 bridge on Sunday.
Around 9:15 a.m., officers said they responded to a man-down call at the I-55 bridge. They found a man who was shot, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
All westbound lanes of traffic on the I-55 bridge were closed for around three hours. Lanes opened back up around 12:30 p.m., according to Tennessee Department of Transportation spokesperson Nichole Lawrence.
MPD said they have no suspect information at this time, and they are asking anyone with information to call 901-528-CASH with tips.
