MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is dead after a deadly shooting taking place in Oakhaven Sunday, Sept. 8. 2024.
Officers with the Memphis Police Department arrived at 3434 Winchester Road around 2:30 a.m. where they were told the victim, Keon Walton, had left the area in his truck before returning with multiple gunshot wounds. Walton was then taken to Regional One Hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Investigators discovered that Walton’s black pickup truck was taken from the scene with multiple bullet holes after he was taken to Regional One.
No arrests have been made at this time, but an investigation is underway.
