MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A woman is dead after a shooting took place Friday morning in the Medical District.
Officers with the Memphis Police Department responded to the shooting Oct. 18, 2024, around 8:30 a.m. in the 1000 block of Court Avenue, where they found a woman and pronounced her dead.
Investigators said police detained a man, who was taken to a hospital in non-critical condition.
