MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A 17-year-old teen has been charged with first-degree murder nearly two weeks after a 73-year-old woman was shot and killed in a retirement community in Raleigh.
Officers found the woman dead early Friday morning, March 8, after a shooting happened at the Wesley Stage Park retirement community in Raleigh.
Memphis Police responded to the shooting in the 2700 block of Battle Creek Drive, where officers found a 73-year-old woman, who was pronounced dead.
Tuesday, MPD said a 17-year-old teen boy was charged with first-degree murder in perpetration of a robbery and especially aggravated robbery. At this time, his identity has not been released.
