MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A woman is dead after a shooting took place Thursday in North Memphis.
Officers with the Memphis Police Department responded to the shooting Oct. 3 just after midnight in the 1000 block of Oakmont Place. They found a woman seriously hurt, and first responders took her to Regional One Health in critical condition.
She later died at the hospital.
Investigators said there is no suspect information available as of yet. An investigation is underway.
