Two women injured after shooting in front of Hickory Hill fire station

Memphis Police said they responded to the shooting around 4:40 p.m. Monday.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two women were rushed to the hospital with gunshot wounds after Memphis Police said they were shot in front of a Memphis Fire station in Hickory Hill Monday afternoon.

According to Memphis Police, their officers responded to the shooting call at MFD's Fire Station #52 on Winchester Road around 4:39 p.m. Monday. There, they found two women with gunshot wounds.

One woman was taken to Regional One Hospital in critical condition, while the other was taken to St. Francis Hospital in non-critical condition.

Memphis Police said their initial findings suggest the shooting happened in front of the fire station. The suspect(s) were in a black Infiniti SUV. No firefighters were injured.
