MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Watch live as the jury in the trial of Justin Johnson, charged in the murder of Memphis rapper Young Dolph, delivers their verdict.
Johnson was charged with first degree murder, conspiracy to commit first degree murder and being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm in the November, 2021, killing of Young Dolph, whose real name is Adolph Thornton Jr.
The trial began Monday, Sept. 23 and lasted just three days before closing arguments took place Thursday morning.
The jury found Justin Johnson guilty on all charges, and the judge sentenced him to life in prison.
