MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two people were hospitalized after an ambulance in emergency mode crashed into a car on Wednesday in Midtown.
The Memphis Police Department responded to the two-vehicle crash Dec. 27 around 1:15 a.m. at Lamar Avenue and South Bellevue Boulevard. The driver and passenger of the car were taken to Methodist Central in non-critical condition.
Police said the ambulance driver was issued a citation for failure to maintain safe lookout, while the car driver was issued a citation for violation of state registration, no driver’s license, and financial responsibility.
