MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police said a 7-year-old boy was found with a loaded gun at an elementary school in Parkway Village.
MPD told ABC24 officers were called to Evans Elementary on Cottonwood Rd. about 8:40 a.m. Friday, April 26, 2024. They said a 7-year-old boy was found to have a loaded handgun in his backpack.
Investigators said no one was hurt, and the gun was recovered.
Further information on possible charges has not been released.
